1stTransport, Inc. smart logistics, supports U.S. Troops

Rolling Hills Estates, CA - April 11, 2007 - In an effort to show support for U.S. Troops, 1stTransport, Inc. together with Roadrunner Dawes Freight systems provided transportation and logistics support for Newhall Coffee Roasting Company to ship more than 12,000 pounds of Patriot Blend coffee to Iraq and Afghanistan via the USO Care Packaging Facility at Fort Belvoir, VA.

The cargo was successfully delivered on April 3, 2007. The 12,000 pounds are packaged in 128,000 individual portion packs for troops in the field. Each pack brews 10 cups of coffee which equates to 1,280,000 cups of coffee.
