The Crown Bay Cargo Port is comprised of 20 acres. The bulkhead at the facility is 2,720 feet, with a maximum draft of 30 feet. Containerized and general cargo is handled at this facility. The bulkhead was extended in 2001 to accommodate larger cargo ships. VIPA recently dredged the Crown Bay harbor to increase the depth and accommodate larger vessels.
